Office & Accounts Administrators (Full-Time, Permanent) – Dublin.

A new opportunity has arisen for an Office administrator/Assistant QQI Coordinator to join our thriving Educational company.

The applicant will gain practical experience in Customer service, dealing with the Public, Office Procedures, Education Sector Procedures, Attending meetings and General Office duties.

Key Competencies:

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook is essential for this role.

 

Reports to: Office Manager.

Based at: The Open College, Unit 9, Leopardstown Business Centre, Ballyogan Road, Leopardstown, Dublin 18.

Contract: Full-Time @ 35hrs per week (Mon – Fri).

Commencement Date: Immediate Start.

Online eLearning Content Designer and Producer (Full-Time, Permanent) – Dublin.

 

Reports to: Joe Walsh, Director.

Based at: The Open College, Unit 9, Leopardstown Business Centre, Ballyogan Road, Leopardstown, Dublin 18.

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Commencement Date: Immediate Start – April 2018.

 

Job purpose:

To plan and carry out direct distance learning and elearning activities, so as to maintain and develop the Distance Learning and eLearning offering to prospective students within The Open College, in accordance with agreed business development plans and activities.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Work as assistant to Director for the further development of existing elearning platform.
  2. Online Video Content recording, editing and production. Includes production of video, multimedia presentations, graphics, animation and text to create an engaging educational experience designed in accordance with sound pedagogical principles.
  3. Maintain and develop the existing online systems and database in line with future requirements for Industry.
  4. Plan and carry out direct marketing activities for existing and new students – monthly Newsletters, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms that are used within the college.
  5. Liaise and Manage Open College tutors to fulfill future eLearning requirements.
  6. Direct and Manage tutor’s delivery of content for uploading onto online platform – Video recording, Learning Materials, Additional Content, Quizzes etc.
  7. Plan, develop and implement strategy for tutor training and development, establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of tutor training and development for use of eLearning platform.
  8. Update existing Learning materials for uploading to eLearning database.
  9. Set-Up and Manage Live Q&A sessions between prospective learners and tutors.
  10. Develop ideas and create new media and delivery options for eLearning within The Open College.
  11. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information on student usage of eLearning platforms.
  12. Liaise and create relationship with current external development and coding teams for future building and coding of internal and external Open College databases.
